Where was Eddie’s Drive-In?
Eddie’s Drive-In, located at 604 E. Market Street in Lockhart, was long considered a beloved local institution and one of the area’s earliest Hispanic-owned businesses. Operated by the Rangel family, the drive-in became a cherished part of the community. Though it sadly did not survive the Covid era, we still admire the hand-painted artwork that remains on the building — a lasting reminder of its place in Lockhart history.
